Yes, that awesome anthology that sprung up last year, The Tangled Bank: Love, Wonder, and Evolution, which featured my story “Darwin’s Daughter” is at the business end of a contest. They’re giving away 3 PRINT copies of the book (previously the book was only electronic, but now it has evolved!). All you’ve got to do to win one is tell them your favourite evolutionary adaptation (real or imagined), in 50 words or less.
The three most interesting entries will win a copy of the print edition.
There are two ways to enter:
1. Go to the Tangled Bank Press page and post your answer in the comment field; or
2. On the Tangled Bank Press Facebook Page under the “Discussions” tab.
Honestly, I crave/yearn/lust over a print copy of this book. The artwork in there alone is enough to make me contemplate faking a Facebook account and entering under a false name. Anyway, I can’t win one (stupid professional integrity) but you can! Hurry up. The competition closes on 11 February at 5pm Australian EST (UTC+10). Winners will be announced on Darwin Day.
