    I think I’ve slowed down – 25 rejections, at latest count – but I’ve had a lot of slow rejections this year and I’ve just reinserted six stories into circulation in an effort to catch up.

    25 is 1/4 of the way. When the slow ones roll in for you, you’ll get a boost in the numbers, as well. Your problem is, Mr. Ball, that you sell too much stuff. 🙂

    How slow is slow? Duotrope tells me that I’ve been waiting 416, 223, 215, and 129 days for the longest of my submissions. The 416 day one is Doorways, which I’m really going to have to deal with soon, I think…
